Long before dating apps, classified ads were published in magazines. Lucien Fradin reads and performs the homosexual correspondence in the 80s monthly magazine Gay International.
“20 years old, blue eyes, light-brown hair looking for a 18-25 year-old friend.” In the 80s, meeting up was a true challenge for young homosexuals from a rural background. By reading the classified ads from the Gay International magazine, Lucien Fradin paints the detailed picture of a generation. In a show mixing song and reading, the 30-year-old man from Eperlecques, Northern France tells his story by telling others’.
