George Benjamin performs a shifting repertoire, from the impressionist Debussy to contemporary György Ligeti. A symphonic night conducted by a music genius unanimously celebrated. 

As a composer himself George Benjamin pays a tribute to great names of the modern and contemporary repertoire he was inspired by. The British trained at the Conservatoire de Paris performs La Mer by Debussy, Les Offrandes Oubliées by the most spiritual Olivier Messiaen, and Lontano by the more experimental György Ligeti. One of his last compositions, Concerto pour orchestre, will be presented as well.
