As an encounter between baroque music and leading artists from urban cultures, FugaCités is an explosive mix composed of beatbox world champion Tiko, famous slam poet Mehdi Krüger and hip hop dancer Jérôme Oussou, and choreographed by Mourad Merzouki.

Imagined by Franck‑Emmanuel Comte and directed by director Bérénice Collet, FugaCités compares three poetic, cross-disciplinary worlds whose inspirations are numerous to create a dialogue between the Concert de l’Hotel Dieu’s instrumentalists and leading figures of urban cultures. Pauline Vachez’s lighting alongside Christophe Waksman’s video highlight three artistic cultures in a show where baroque music defies the centuries between them.
