As long as one can still drink coffee in one’s robe, who cares if the walls of the house are melting down. Facing the climate crisis, humans might get creative till the point of absurdity. Theatre of objects, puppets and video magically combine to turn our unsettling strangeness into something funny.
A team of wildlife directors film the effects of climate change. Their documentaries filmed at the heart of ice melting or tsunamis are projected on the walls of a couple’s living room, determined to enjoy their Sunday despite oppressive heat. Through the magic of a set animated by actors/puppeteers, two worlds collide with a hint of dark comedy and a great amount of burlesque. What’s more effective to pull out children and adults from indifferent numbness?
A great family show to start the new season !
