For reasons beyond our control, the Eric Cantona concert has been postponed until later in the season. The new date will be announced later.

Painter, poet, actor : Eric Cantona is much more than Manchester United’s number 7. He is now a singer accompanied by a small group, singing his own songs and he is as good with a mike as he is with a ball. The King has returned after a residency in 2011 at the Phénix with the Valenciennes Football Club. 

After an international career as a soccer star, Eric Cantona has been rather busy : he’s been on stage, in Charles Berling’s and Ken Loach’s films. And it’s just a small part of his impressive biography. One dream still remained to be fulfilled by the one known as “Eric the King” on the other side of the Channel – becoming a pop rock singer. About 20 songs, two musicians by his side; today it’s been achieved on stage as on record.
