After taking courses at the Ecole du Nord, Julien Gosselin created in 2009 the SVPLMC company, together with six actors. His adaptations (Fausto Paravidino, Anja Hilling, Michel Houellebecq, Roberto Bolano, Don DeLillo, Leonid Andriev) established him as one of the most important directors of his generation. In 2013, his version of Atomised was produced at the Phénix before the Avignon Festival. He always comes back to Valenciennes to rehearse and present his shows. As associate artist, he is provided with the technical support of Nicolas Ahssaine – technical director at the Phénix.  Julien Gosselin’s shows are now supported by the greatest international festivals and theatrical institutions.
