Gurshad Shaheman was trained at the ERACM (Cannes and Marseille) – actor, assistant director or Farsi translator. His trilogy Pourama Pourama, which is still touring is published by Solitaires Intempestifs. At the time, he met LGBT refugees in Athens and Beirut in anticipation of his next show Il pourra toujours dire que c’est pour l’amour du prophète, created at the Avignon festival of 2018. In France he is supported by the Phénix, scène nationale Valenciennes within the framework of the ECH campus, la Maison de la Culture d’Amiens and le Manège scène nationale Maubeuge. In 2019 he founded La Ligne d’Ombre company in the HDF region. The text of les Forteresses (2021) was awarded with the Beaumarchais grant by the SACD, as well as the ARTCENA prize. The show has known a tremendous success since its premiere during the COC in Maubeuge, inviting us this year to present it once again in comparison with his new show Sur tes traces.
