Yuval Rozman
stage director
To Israeli playwright and director Yuval Rozman, a play filled with dark humour and contemporary experience speaks louder than any political speech. After deserting the Israeli army in 2004, he entered the CNSAD Tel Aviv and New York. In 2010, he founded the Ensemble Voltaire and put on his first show (Cabaret Voltaire), just before coming to France. In 2017, he started writing a trilogy mixing music and video on the Israel-Palestinian conflict seen through three pillars : war (Tunnel Boring Machine, 2017), religion (The Jewish Hour, awarded by the Impatience festival in 2020), love (Ahouvi, 2023) and economy (Adesh-Au nom du ciel, 2025). All his shows were produced and created at the Phénix thanks to the support of the ECH and partners.
